What BIG day?
Thursday March 12th, 2009 Landon gave his first talk at the Kingdom Hall. He did a WONDERFUL job and we were VERY proud of him. Before going up, I asked him if he was nervous and he said "NO" (but then after his talk he told me that when he was walking up to the stage he got a little nervous) Everyone asked me if I was going to cry... and I said "No, but I think I might throw up". I was SO nervous for him (even though I knew he would do a good job!) Check him out! Here is a video (Thanks to Uncle Aaron) of him giving his talk.

Landon was quite the special guy that night because he had several family members come and watch him! Grandma Dew, Great Grandma and Grandpa Ewald, Aunt Terri, Uncle Rod and cousins Kyle and Autumn. They were also very proud of him!

That was a very special day... for Landon and Mommy and Daddy. We were so proud of you Landon. All the Grandparents were there for you, rooting you on. Especially Nana, I was so proud of my grandson..... I could see you really enjoyed doing it, and you didn't look nerves at all.

OH my goodness. That was excellent. He did a awesome job for his 1st talk. He will be a exceptional speaker when he grows up. We too are very proud. Great Job.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job, Landon, Uncle Aaron and Aunt Amy were super proud of you... and Madeline was proud, too! Way to go! And guess what? You were the star attraction that made Will and Holly and their kids want to come to the Thursday meeting! Maybe their kids will want to read like that now, too!
